WHY THIS SYSTEM EXISTS

After years of coaching, one thing became clear:

Most surfers don’t lack effort. They lack structure.

They chase techniques. Watch clips. Try harder.

But nothing sticks.

 

The problem isn’t effort it’s the approach.

Performance doesn’t come from isolated techniques.
It comes from how the body moves as a system.

 

So I stopped teaching tips and built a method based on:

  • movement first

  • repeatable patterns

  • real performance under pressure

 

Every session follows the same process:

Structure → Analyse → Connect

 

This evolved into a 12-part performance system used across surf, surfskate, and training. That’s how surfers improve faster and actually keep it.

We break surfing down into 12 key elements.

Each element builds on the next creating a complete, repeatable performance system.

We don’t coach everything at once. We focus on what will create the biggest improvement first.​

POSITION

1. TAKEOFF & POSITIONING

The foundation of every wave.

We focus on:

  • body alignment at takeoff

  • board angle and direction

  • stable stance from the first movement

👉 If the takeoff is wrong, everything after is limited.

SPEED

4. SPEED GENERATION

Speed is everything.

We focus on:

  • generating speed without pumping randomly

  • using body positioning

  • maintaining speed through turns​​

  • where to position on the wave

  • choosing the correct path

  • reading sections early

Breath controls your body and mind.

We focus on:

  • staying relaxed under pressure

  • controlling tension in the body

  • breathing through takeoff and turns
